Wow! What a great time travel book! This book is not like the sci-fi stories my mind jumps to when I think time travel. Local writer, artist, business woman, Leanna Sain has created her first novel and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It has all the elements of a good story: mystery, romance, suspense and and great characters…. Gate to Nowhere takes you back to a slower pace, a simpler time of ladies and gentlemen and it all starts with a gate! Leanna Sain has paid special attention to the detailed history of Western North Carolina. You’ll gain lots of historical information on the Asheville and Hendersonville areas and you will want to find some of those bronze information signs for yourself…. I didn’t want it to end. This is an action-packed time travel romance starring a wonderful somewhat bewildered heroine and a courageous hunk. The story line is fast-paced from the moment Emma struggles to find the signpost and never slows down until the final confrontation. Although the lead couple reacts to everything thrown their way too easily, fans will want to walk through the GATE TO NOWHERE to watch Emma’s amazing adventure.—Harriet K.

This author grabbed my attention from page one. Suspense, mystery, and intrigue are all there. This is a hard book to put down. I’m already looking for the next one. There must be a sequel coming.

The title captured me! Then I learned that Nowhere is a place in time and the journey backward began! I found the narrative like sitting and chatting with a dear friend. Indeed, I found myself looking into my own history, and wondering if this could really happen! I certainly recommend this as an intriguing read, and look forward to the sequel.—Ellen

No matter if you’re looking for a love story, suspense, mystery or danger–this book will give you a good dose of it! The part I enjoy the most is how even the most insignificant changes in the past can make such a tremendous difference in future events and attitudes. When will the sequel be out?
